1. We suffered a brief outage this morning when our host noticed that HTF needed to be moved to a different server due to a hardware failure. That work is now complete. Please post in the feedback area if you have any issues.

Have DSL? Be an ISP !! Host your own websites, for fun or for profit.
I am selling a Windows NT 4.0 based server, which was hosting about 30 websites. It is completely setup and ready to go. It includes the following packages, all that one might need to host websites:
    WWW - Apache Web Server
SMTP & POP3 - Seattle Labs Mail Server
    FTP - Vermillion FTP Server
    CGI - Perl 5.003
    DBI - MySQL
    DNS - Bind 4.9.7
Asking $1900. Includes setup programs to add new domains to the server. I'll also include some training, to get you started hosting websites.
Let me know, if you have any questions.

Ah, good point. Its a Pentium 300Mhz, 128MB ram, 8GB hard drive, partitioned appropriately, CD-ROM, blah blah blah. This machine is about 2 years old, and runs great. It contained everything you need to plug it into a DSL connection, and host websites and virtual domains using name-based virtual hosting. The hardware is not as important as all the time invested setting the thing up. I think I know what I'm doing, and it still took me several weeks to set up the new Windows 2000 server, and to get everybody migrated over.
