Internet Portal Recomendations? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone here have any Internet portals that you use and would recommend? News, local weather, local movie showtimes, and some configurability would be nice. I'll even consider a paid portal service, if it will completely eliminate the ads.

I run Linux, so anything that requires downloading/running software for Windows is out of the question.

No portal recommendations, but a software one; www.privoxy.org

That will make just about any portal totally ad-free.

Go to www.google.com and click on Personalized Home in the upper right-hand corner. This allows you to make Google a portal and you can configure it however you'd like.
