    Hello all,
I bought a new PC a few weeks ago that is running Windows XP Pro SP2. For some reason when I enter the username and password for a Web site, even while selecting the "Remember my Password" check box, IE6 won't remember this information the next time I am at the site. I have noticed that with SP2 the default browser settings are considerably different and I assume that's what's causing this. Does anyone know how to get IE6 to remember usernames and passwords for Web sites?

    Thank you.

In Internet Explorer, select Tools | Internet Options and on the Content tab click on the AutoComplete... button. In the pop-up dialog, make sure User names and passwords on forms and Prompt me to save passwords are both selected.
