I've only seen the movie a really, really, long time ago and don't remember anything about it, but the Sports Guy, who's probably the movie's biggest fan, has a few interesting tidbits about the possibility of a DVD Director's Cut in his latest column:

Although it doesn't really sound promising in this article, I wouldn't mind seeing a DC of this film. It was one of my guilty pleasures as a kid. If there is a DC, I hope it's anamorphic.

One of the best movies of all-time [IMG] And notice I didn't say...Sports movies!
I may be a little biased though...Back in the day (late 80's) I used to play Indiana High School B-ball. Well, if riding the bench counts [IMG]
Would buy a SE of "Hoosiers" in a heartbeat. Also, A buddy of mine is an extra in a couple scenes.
    HICKORY!

Yeah, there is nothing that makes this movie a guilty pleasure. An excellent movie all around. Brings tears ro my eyes every time.

OK--bad choice of words saying it was a "guilty pleasure." It wasn't my favorite movie, but I did like it quite a bit as a kid. If they do it right, I'd certainly be willing to add this to my collection.
    Am I forgiven now? [IMG]
