Marvel may be trying to get the rights back from Fox for Silver Surfer and Galactus. Reportedly, Fox will lose their rights to DareDevil if they don't have a film started by October. The rights would go back to Marvel.
Fox reportedly has designs to do a "Frank Miller Inspired" DareDevil reboot with Joe Carnahan directing. So Marvel may be negotiating to allow Fox to keep the DareDevil rights in exchange for Silver Surfer and Galactus.
Marvel clearly had designs to expand their cosmic film universe, and SS/Galactus fits right in with that plan.

And the story has already been denied:

What's true? Only time will tell I guess.

Was just going to post that.
So at least maybe Daredevil will be going back to Marvel unless Fox slaps together a production in the next two months.

I really don't know if I even care whether or not Fox retains the rights to Silver Surfer and Galactus, I could see awesome uses of those characters in FF films or Marvel Universe films, but I would also like to see Marvel get Daredevil back. It's been reported that Marvel is looking to break into live-action television, with a property that is in, but kind of on the edge of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and I personally think that Daredevil would be perfect for that. He's more of a street-level character, with a power-set that would not be impossible on a TV budget, plus they could mix in the legal side of the character as well.

I can see it now. Law & Order:Daredevil
:D
Exactly! :) No really, obviously I'd prefer the focus be on superheroics, just saying that throwing in a bit of a legal-drama twist may make it an easier sell to the networks.

And in less surprising news, Joss Whedon will be back for Avengers 2:

It is official now, Daredevil rights.. and Elektra rights within the year it seems go back to Marvel. Marvel confirms they are now in control of Daredevil rights.

http://www.newsarama.com/film/kevin-feige-daredevil-marvel-studios.html
Speaking with Newsarama Monday at the Iron Man 3 press junket, the Marvel Studios president of production told us at the end of our conversation that, as previously speculated, the Daredevil rights are now under the Disney/Marvel umbrella. We directly asked Feige if the reports that Marvel Studios now had the rights to Daredevil were accurate, to which he replied, "To Daredevil? Yes."

In August, it was reported that previous rights-holder Fox had a deadline of Oct. 10 to put a Daredevil film into production before the rights returned to Marvel, a deadline that then passed. Though it was widely assumed this meant the character was now under Marvel control, no official announcement followed.
