    I agree that it may be hard to think of non-technical uses for this technology in the near future, but it may hold promise.

    The inventor states that any plug-and-paly device, like a computer or television, can serve as the source for the display.

    Reminds me of the VR database system as seen in the 1994 film "Disclosure" (except this system used a VR headset)
