    Hi,
I'm trying to decide on which receiver to purchase. Here is what I'm thinking of:
    Denon 4802
    Onkyo 898
    Integra 8.2
I have not being able to find a dealer that has the Integra 8.2 and I was wondering if anyone out there know the price for this receiver.
And I guess in terms of performance, would the Denon stand out the most?
    Thx,
    Kevin

I have been looking at these also. Here what I think. If money is no object then the Denon 4802 is probably the best overall. I think that the Onkyo 898 is a good choice for the money ($600 - $800 less than the Denon). It is basically the same as the Integra but without the Onkyo labelled Pronto remote. The Integra is $500 more than the Onkyo and probably not worth it. Good luck.

You might want to factor in the remote control choices; I was pretty excited about the Denon 4802 until I saw the remote in person. It's very bulky to say the least. Then again, maybe some people really like it. I bought the Onkyo 989 from One Call. They are an authorized internet dealer, and the price was just a few bills more than the Denon 4802.
