I recently purchased a home that was already wired for Bose speakers. I have a Samsung blu-ray set up with sub woofer and 4 speakers. Is there a way to make them work together?

Thank you,

Austin

Are they just the cubes and nothing else or is their fake "sub" part of the mix?

What is the model (#) of home theater package are you running?

Did they have outlets near the TV that have just speaker wires coming out of the wall that you can attach to your receiver?

I think Bose is a different beast though in that you may not be able to just plug their speakers into just any receiver.

You may be better off replacing the Bose with regular speakers honestly.

It could be problematic. Typically HTIBs like yours have speakers with an unusual impedance rating of 3 ohms. I’m not sure what the Bose impedance is, but if it’s more than 3 ohms your Samsung will be putting out even less power than it does now. In addition, HTIBs typically have proprietary connectors for their speakers, so you’d have to cut the wires and splice them into the Bose speakers.
