3D Inside Out 3D Bluray (1 Viewer)

It looks like Disney is releasing a Collector's Edition of Inside Out on 3D bluray. After not releasing Frozen or Big Hero 6 domestically in 3D (granted both were from Disney Animation Studios and not Pixar), hopefully this is a sign that Disney will continue to support the format as they have with Marvel selections.

It's a sign that Pixar will support 3D, and nothing more.

Disney proper can't do it but Pixar and Marvel can? I have tried to figure out a reason why this is so, and other than the latter two divisions appearing to have enough autonomy to make that call, I can't think of anything.

You hit the nail on the head, Matthew. While all the product is distributed by WDSHE, each division makes its own calls on format and 3D or no.

Now if only Pixar would do a US Region A release of Ratatouille.
