Input of external 6-cahannel deconder. How does it work and what does it do? (1 Viewer)

I'm confused. Regarding the Yammie 2095. You can input 6 channels but you still have only 5 channel output. Obviously I missing something.

I'm going to guess and say that the inputs are for FR,FL (Main - Red and white),SR,SL(surround - red and white) ,Sub and center. The outputs on your receiver your referring to are the speaker connections for FR,C,FL,SR,SL? The LFE output is usually a preout which requires you to connect to a powered sub or another amplifier designated for the subwoofer.
