Infrared Control (1 Viewer)

I currently have the RCA unit which has the infrared receiver in the upper right LCD screen. I am in the process of putting my equipment out of sight and going with an infrared control repeater system.
Will a stick on repeater work on the LCD screen over the sensor? Never have
used this system before and wanted your input. Is the HD-A2 sensor also
in the LCD screen?

I use a Home Theater Master via an RF unit, and it works fine....

I use the Harmony 880. What I really want to know, if I use a ir flasher over
the sensor on the LCD screen, will it work and where is the sensor located on
the HD-A2?
