I am the co-owner of a new web site, called Widescreen Advocate, and I need some information for the site.

There was a director/film historian that recently published a list of ten best widescreen movies. I need to know the name of this person. I think his name was Martin, but I can't remember his last name. If you can provide a link to the article with the Ten Best widescreen movies, I would be grateful. I also need an article about his campaign to get films presented in OAR, which I believe also mentions that Phillips will begin pushing the adoption of widescreen televisions.

I need studio and retailer contact addresses, so that I can start a letter writing campaign. I have seen a post that included this information, but I cannot find it. If anyone can provide me with the information I need, your name will be added to the contributors page of the web site.

I need the mailing addresses, addressed to customer support or feedback, of the following retailers. Also include e-mail contact if available.

Wal-Mart, Target, Sams Club, Costco, Best Buy, Circuit City, K-Mart, Media Play, etc...

I need the mailing addresses, addressed to customer support or feedback, of the following studios home video departments. Also include e-mail contact if available.

Warner Brothers, MGM, Paramount, 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney, Columbia/Tristar, etc...

    Thank you.

Joshua, that director who is campaigning on behalf of widescreen awareness is a gentleman known as Martin Scorcese--you know, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Bringing Out the Dead, The Last Temptation of Christ, et al.

That article is basically trashing Martin's efforts. I think he ought to be commended. Does anyone have a better article, one that explains exactly what it is he is doing?
