InFocus X1 Vs. Optoma EZ 731 (1 Viewer)

I have pored over all of the specifications of every projector under $2000. It seems that the X1 and EZ 731 are hard to beat for the money. I'm looking for a projector that will be sufficient for the next 3-4 years, at which time the technology will have improved enough to upgrade. I also considered a Sharp, Panansonic and Mitsubishi units, but they seemed less interesting.

New projector just came out....the Optoma H30. Go to www.optomahometheater.com and check it out. Less than $3K.

The Sanyo Z2 is THE projector for under 2000 ($1999), however the panny 500 CAN get a better picture its just a lot harder to setup and doesn't like being moved around very much.

I love the picture on my X1, but the rainbow effect really bothers me. It doesn't bother any of my friends so you might be one of the lucky ones that it is good for.
