Congrats. You'll never look back. In fact, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

While on the subject did you guys did you know the 4805 can run @ 47hz to eliminate the need for 3:2 pulldown?

Do you have a link to a source which confirms this? I know the 7205 has a 48hz mode, but I've never seen anything which indicates the 4805 can do this.

Thanks,

Dan

I wish I had my cam so I could snap a pic. I connect it to my htpc use these custom timings in powerstrip:

...and it says 848x480 - 47Hz. The color wheel slows down and there's less noise.

Hmm...I wonder if this can be done with a Bravo D1/D2 in the custom menu.

Just get some nice quality cables from bluejeanscable.com and don't sweat it too much. I run 30 feet of BJC's components and it still looks great.

Scott L,

I've been trying to use your modeline, but all my 4805 shows is 640x480 or 1024x768, could you send me you xorg.conf so I can check it out? If you want to you can mail it to [email protected] of course with the NOSPAM and underscores removed :)

Thank in advance!
