Quick background: The room that I will be setting this up in has three large bay windows that have full length curtains (with black out cloth) so light control is not an issue. The throw distance is 11 feet and I'm looking at putting up a 70 to 80 inch image against the far wall. Seating distance is between 8 and 10 feet. My viewing habits are 50% DVD, 20% HDTV, 30% gaming. The issue: I've been looking at projectors for a while now and am having trouble on deciding between these two models. The BenQ has a resolution advantage but the Infocus supposedly has a color advantage (ie the HT color wheel). The BenQ can also be had for $319 cheaper (after a $200 mail in rebate) which I would use to buy a nice Carada screen. Otherwise I'll probably have to go with a Da-Lite or bed sheet or something. Has anyone compared these two head-to-head? Or better yet know of somewhere in the Dallas area that I might be able to do so myself? Any advice is most appreciated! Chris S.
