Just a quick question. I have a pair of Infinity IL50's and the Infinity's R.A.B.O.S. calibration system. Is Infinity's R.A.B.O.S. system good enough or should I invest in the Radio Shack SPL device that everyone is talking about?

The RABOS system works very well for adjusting in-room frequency response for low bass. It'll also help you set the correct sub level for CD-Audio. What it won't do is balance the audio from all speakers in your surround sound system. For that you'll still need a test disc like AVIA and ideally, a seperate sound pressure level meter. The RABOS meter will probably do just fine, but Infinity is always careful to note that it's been calibrated for low bass response. I haven't compared my RABOS meter to my Radio Shack meter though.
