Agree with everything said. The first in the series not composed for 2.35:1, which in and of itself takes some of the "epic" feel away and a lame screenplay with altered ending. Suspect this series of films is drawing to a close........

I love the international casts of these films and still can't make myself like Hanks as Langdon. He's just not who I pictured while reading the books.
