Why can't somebody make the above? It seems all of the separate preamps that will do the most current decoding programs are at least $1500. If they can come up with receivers doing everything for half (or less)of this, why can't they come up with a preamp for, say, 5-6 bills?

    ???
I think I want one of these to complement a cheap stereo channel preamp. This is a cheap option believe me because otherwise I'd be after a McLaren or Integra Research.
However I do not know if they offer a 240v version and I feel odd about buying one and forfeiting the 5 year warranty.
Also I feel strange getting a Taiwanese made preamp being sent to the US and thence to Australia...
