Inexpensive receiver suggestions (1 Viewer)

Hey all, I'm in the market for a new receiver, and want to keep the cost around $300(for the WAF) I'm looking mainly at the Onkyo 494, and the Kenwood VR-507. I figure these are about the only ones at this price range with DPLII. Crutchfield also has the VR-409 on sale for $229, which sounds pretty loaded except for DPLII. Can anyone give input as to which of these receivers they might choose, or give any other suggestions around the same price point?
