Thanks. One of the few times I’m glad I got the steel box version. Was hoping it would be like a booklet. This looks cheap and flimsy.

It is. The outer sleeve was crushed in transit, snapping off one of the spindle hubs inside so one of the discs is now loose forever. Amazon is shipping a replacement next week, but I'm not holding my breath that the replacement will be in any better condition.

My second shipment arrived, also damaged (and shipped in in the same flimsy Prime white and blue bubble bags).

After being transferred round and round trying to escalate the issue, Amazon authorized for a third unit to be shipped out.

Hopefully, the third time is the charm....

The other was when it was finally playing at my neighborhood theater (Eric Twin Village Mall in Horsham, PA) nearly a year later, in 35mm mono, and the print they received had spliced the end credits directly after the opening credits (Directed by Steven Spielberg, cut to old guy wheeling the Ark and the end credits roll, cut away just before the Paramount logo back to our regularly scheduled movie).

This is similar to the ABC TV cut of "You Only Live Twice" released by RCA on CED! It opened with the gun barrel and the shot of the space capsule. It then cut to Bond "dead" in bed and the opening titles and the shot of the Hong Kong harbor. Then back to the space capsule opening.

Except there is no reason for anyone to have made those cuts in the middle of a reel.

Actually, you could've already gotten it for under $60 elsewhere, eg. DeepDiscount w/ their occasional 15%-off coupons or at least one reasonably reputable etailer on eBay w/ its occasionally recurring sales.
