The site says it's run by Warner Bros and Warner Media, by default that would mean that this collection will be all the titles that WB owns.

Well, to be fair, it doesn't mean anything of the sort. There is no indication that it will include ALL of the WB Kubricks. It's possible that it will be a limited 4K set only, with The Shining (carpet pattern on website seems to indicate this), 2001, and a couple of other 4K surprises. Or, it could be a mixed 4k + Blu-ray set, but that's a very strange marketing decision if it comes to be.

It would be amazing if WB includes all FIVE of their other Kubrick films in 4K UHD, but I can't see that as a realistic possibility. Fingers are crossed, however. :)

Exactly. That's what I meant by my "what am I missing" post a few back.

"It looks to be all the movies he made at WB" feels like a bit of a leap...

You know, Warners, I could really go for a remastered "Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures". :)

    I've never known WB to re-issue titles ad-infinitum ;)

I suspect WB has deals with Sony and Universal with regards to Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, and the George Kennedy Spartacus ... just as Fox had with WB to have Blazing Saddles in their Mel Brooks disc sets ...

Warner had a deal with them previously. For all we know, they may have a deal in perpetuity that allows them to join forces on future box sets.

I was just about to say that. We don't know how long those licensing deals last, could be for a few years or until the units are sold out; mostly likely whichever comes first I would imagine.

Unless they've got the deleted scenes from 2001 that were confirmed to have been found in good condition, I don't see a need for me to buy yet another edition of Kubrick's films.

    I was hoping they'd be region-free, but I guess not. ;)

I'll always remember the day the HTF thought they were going to lose their shirts on more 4k discs and instead ended up with...shirts.

    Bahahahaha!

I actually wouldn't mind one of those Shining shirts, but I'm a big guy and they don't offer my size. Oh well :/

Just ordered the amazing hooded red cape. Can’t have a proper offering without one.
