I went to the IRS website to check on the status of my refund and it stated there was a delay in processing my tax refund. I'm supposed to call customer service and give them the reference number 1321. I double checked my 1040 and the only thing I can figure is I accidentally forgot to date it when I signed it. Anybody ever have anything similar happen to them? Should I be worried? The IRS makes me nervous. [IMG]

If you didn't cheat you have nothing to worry about. [IMG] Just call them and straighten it out. If anything you'll just get your return later.

Whew. Turns out it was nothing. Talking to the IRS is like having a police officer pass you on the highway. Even though you weren't speeding you still get nervous. [IMG]

If it is something bad, they typically send you an offical letter telling you when and where to appear. If it was just a notice to give them a call, it would probably be something very minor and not worth getting nervous about.
