I am building a new HT and am wondering if there is a preferred way to mount the speakers. Wife would like them in-wall, but I have read that having the mounted (and thus able to aim them at the listening area) will make them sound better.

    Any thoughts?

In walls usualy lack the imaging details of "hanging"speakers and once you have put them in the wall. its not like you can move them around. Many companys make wall hugging/white surround speakers that should please both the wife and the HT guy
