In-wall vs. In-ceiling (1 Viewer)

This is my first post. I'll try to keep it simple.

I am putting in surrounds for my new Harman Kardon AVR230 for a 5.1 setup. This is my first 5.1/6.1 receiver. Due to space limitations and wife preferences, they need to be in the ceiling.

1st Question - is there really a difference between in-wall and in-ceiling speakers, or is it just a shape preference (rectangle vs. round)?

2nd question - any recommendations on in-wall speakers? I have been looking at the JBL SP6 or HTI6. I am in the ~$200 range for a budget.

Polk Audio in-walls are good and Paradigm are better but pricey.
