I am new to this forum and I am looking for advice/recommendation on a new receiver.
My current equipment consists of:
Rotel RSP 1068
Rotel RMB 1075
Energy tower spearkes: 3+2-1
Energy surronds; RVSS-B-1
B&W CM Center
Energy Sub
Xbox 360
Sony BD
Sharp Aquos
As my Rotel does not support HDMI, I am currently bypassing the receiver/processor for video and connecting the devices to the TV; however still using the receiver for audio.
I chose Rotel for the reasons of their simple design, easy to configure, built in crossovers and overall quality. Now that it appears that I have outgrown my receiver, I would like get a new entry level receiver that will accommodate my other equipment. I don’t want to pay the price of going with separates, but I would like a receiver that will ensure I will not miss what I currently have.
I welcome any suggestions. ..

Do you need HDMI 1.4?
If not, there are tons of AVR on the used market that came with pre-out so you can buy one and use it as a pre-pro...
Integra DTR 6.8/6.9
Yamaha RX-V665/667(if you need 3D ability, 667)
Denon has models from 3-5 years ago that will be under $300 now.
Lots of deals used from people buying 3D that are selling their HDMI 1.3.
