Diane Kruger justly won Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival. Fatih Akin is one of my favorite contemporary directors. Devastating film. The original German title is even more apt.

I think the end needed an extra punch. It needed some reaction shots inside the RV at the very end. Maybe they could have toyed and tested some dialog but if not, definitely some quick reaction shots of how scared they are ...

I actually think it's far more powerful the way it is. Your imagination takes over. Furthermore, I don't think there's any time to react.
I just hope more people will take the plunge and see this extraordinary film and get themselves acquainted with the work of Fatih Akin.
