    Has anyone else noticed that the mix is recorded extremely low in comparison to other DVDs?

    It doesn't bother me that much, I just adjusted the volume on my receiver, but it seemed strange.

    a lot of DVDs nowadays are VERY low.

    I don't know why.

    LOTRings is the exception.

    Yeah LOTR is just the opposite & in a big way, this disc could put your system to the test for sure.

    It was very quiet in the theatres as well.

    It was low and uneven IMHO. I spent most of the film with the remote in my hand so I could adjust the volume and rewind to catch missed dialog.
