What is the best way to inexpensively (< $30) improve the radio reception on my soon-to-be-purchased Denon 1802 receiver. I'd like to improve both AM and FM, but will take advice on either.

Do things like the "TERK AM/FM Antenna Tower" work? Incidentally, its available at circuit city for $20.

Ten: I use a huge Radio Shack FM/TV antenna which I put up in my attic and run some RG-6 coax cable from there to my tuner. It is the only way that I can get solid reception of FM stations located about 60-80 miles away from me. The antenna only cost me around $29 or so.

    Local conditions surrounding your area
will determine how well an antenna will
or won,t work. Would suggest try that
CC antenna out, see if your satisfied
if not bring it back, you have nothing
to lose other than a possible second
