    Alright,
I dunno what the heck happened to my last post, but I'll start another.
I'm upgrading one of my secondary systems to full-fledged DD 5.1.
Thing is it uses a 4 channel reciever that's not DD ready and I've been using a Pro-Logic processor with speaker inputs to get Pro-Logic out of it.
Are there any DD 5.1 processors like that I can use (with rear and center channel inputs)?
I've heard Yahmaha makes some like that.
    Thanks for your help!

Nathan, is there a reason that you are holding on to this dinosaur? Any add-on processor you get is going to cost you money anyway. Do yourself a favor and go out and buy a cheap yamaha, onkyo or denon surround processor. I had the same problem as you about 6 months ago. I bought a denon reciever with dolby digital 5.1 and dts 5.1 from sears for about $280 to upgrade my pro-logic reciever that I had been using in my master bedroom. Problem solved. Sometimes it's just not worth holding onto older technology. Any other kind of patch work project that you use won't even sound as good as one of the new cheap recievers. Just my $.02

    Sean..
I just don't feel like spending this amount of cash on a secondary system..
    Just something cheap..
I bet I could get a processor cheap on ebay if someone names one!
    Thanks,
    Nathan

If you want to keep your existing DPL receiver and you further want to get 5.1 from the existing setup, then the only way it can be done is to use a processor from VANTAS. It's about 500.00 if it's still available. If you looking to simply upgrade to 5.1, you'll find a tone of stuff on EBAY and some will actually have DTS available. You can probably get one for around 100+ dollars.
