:)
I just picked up a pair of S26's on eBay for the ultra low price of... you aren't going to believe this...
$83.01 + $12 shipping

I'll be sure to post a review when I get them.
Where can I get the best price on a S center.

This might be a stupid question but how does one go about viewing a spoiler?

if you highlight the formatted part (w/ ur mouse), the text is magically revealed!

In the voice of Yosemite Sam..."AH HATE YOU!"

Seriously, congrats. That's one heck of a good price.

So YOUR the one that outbid me on those!
jk, i didn't bid on them
I've been keeping an eye on auctions for the past 6 months and do my occasional sniping (bid at last second)
I got a nice 100wpc rotel 2ch power amp for $150, and I got my JBL S38s for $245. Been trying to get myself some S26 surrounds and an S-center so don't outbid HouRman when you see him. ;)

Mark, congrats on the purchase. Damn you, I paid $160 for each pair I bought!! :D
I have 4 S26s and the S-center and I couldn't be any happier. For the price I paid they were well worth it! They sound amazing!
BTW, I bought a barely used S-center on e-bay for $145 which included shipping. It is one of the best purchases I've ever made. What a great center!!! Thanks JBL!

Great price! Gotta' love eBay for great deals! :emoji_thumbsup:
Love my JBL S26 (x4) & S-Center HT Setup - like Jeffrey Noel! I don't regret the $554 (w/3-day FedEX) that I paid last Feb., for the entire set! Matter-a-fact, my usual Friday NITE DVD crowd loves it too!!! They're coming again tonight! :D

So either the S-Center or S-CenterII will match my Series 1 S26 right? Is either prefered over the other?
Mark, from what I've read, the series 1 and series 2 speakers are pretty much the same. The biggest difference I notice is the color of the cones. If you want all of your speakers to match, go with the series 1 S-center, I doubt you'd even be able to hear the difference between the two series.

Mark, that is incorrect. The S-center has a 1" tweeter just like the S series speakers. The N series only has 3/4" tweeters.

I plan on getting the S-38II, S-26II and S-CenterII to go with my brand new Onkyo TX-DS797. Man, its killing me having to stare at the Onkyo and not be able to play with it.:frowning:

... S-Center has a 3/4" tweeter ...
It's always a good idea to check JBL Website, ... the definitive authority on their JBL S-Center ...
STUDIO™ SERIES – S-CENTERII
High-Frequency Driver: 1" Pure-titanium dome with EOS™ waveguide
STUDIO SERIES - S Center (orginal)
High-Frequency Driver: 1" Pure-titanium dome, with rubber surround, shielded; Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal™ (EOS) waveguide.
Andre Aguiar - when you get them, ... then install them and REF Calibrate them, ... the 'wait' will be worth it!!! :emoji_thumbsup: :D

I have my Avia disc ready and waiting. It did a pretty good job on my Toshba 36" as far as color goes. Everything is so much more "natural". Can't wait to tune my speakers (when I get them)!

Phil,

Quick question. What stands would you suggest for the S38II's and would you suggest stands or wall mounts for the rear S26II's?

I'd like to add onto Andre's question.

Any recomended stands for the S26? I'm thinking about going with the 24" Sanus stands with the channel in the back to hide the speaker wire.
