for a 1990 it shouldn't matter I'd think. I also have a 1990 miata which is a 2 door, 2 seat, and sometimes pushed into the sportscar group and it's about the same.


Progressive has never been that cheap for me, Amica wrote me a good policy on ym WRX through progressive, that's the only good deal I've ever gotten from them. I'm with esurance.com now and they've been way cheaper than anyone else.

My insurance didn't drop at age 25 either...however, I experienced a significant drop about midway through my 26th year, all because I'd been with Progressive for 3 years w/ a clean driving record and no late payments...

Your insurance rates will also vary depending on your ZIP code. The statistics for where you live, accident rate, affluence, theft rate, etc. will affect how much you pay. It also makes comparing rates useless unless you live in the same ZIP code.
