I'm not sure if this is protocol or not, but I'm new to the forum, and I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm looking forward to being a part of the group here. Hope I can contribute.

    Welcome to HTF, Bryan. [IMG]
(BTW, your post will probably get moved out of the Software area. [IMG] )

    Really? Then why the f*** can't I say s***? It's a conspiracy I tell ya!

Seriously though, welcome to Jurassic Par... er HTF.

1st question though. (And this will determine whether or not you will have to attend HTF training.)

Do you prefer Full Screen or Widescreen?

Welcome! (to the last day of life as you once new it)
Couple of quick questions for you:
    1. WS or P&S?
    2. Calibrated yet?
    3. HT/music gear? (including speakers, sub, receiver, etc.) Or are you just getting started?
    4. Do cables make a difference?
    5. Is Bose good?
    6. Do you know what "upgraditis" is?
    Here's a hint:
    4 & 5 are trick questions. [IMG]
Once again, welcome to Jurassic Park! [IMG]

    Bryan,
    Welcome!
As was mentioned above- we allow this type of post- just not in the software area. I have moved your post to AFTER HOURS, our off topic area (and where most of the insane types on the forum congregate)...
You might also want to check out out "new" newbie area- for some primer info on the world of HT.

Hi Bryan.[IMG] Welcome to the HFT (whatever the hell that is), you'll like it here, the beds are comfortable, don't worry you'll get used to Rain's nostrils after a few weeks, and always remember the HTF's mantra Widescreen=Good, Pan & Scan=Bad and you'll fit right in, a member got it the wrong way round once and barely made it out of here alive.[IMG]
