Dan,I am in agreement with you!
If only they would reconsider redoing 2,3 & CV to look like this. Yes,I know about the time it would take to do it, but man, it would be something...
"Never give up!!! .......... Never surrender!!!!!!!!!."
Well it took them less than a year to make Rogue Leader, and look how good it came out. I think they should get a dev team together and each year have them remake a new RE game. They could have all 6 out by 2004 if they do it right. Since the games all use a similar engine, they could program it once, and then just keep using it (except for CV and 4).
my only thing is.. SHOW ME JILL PICS CAPCOM!! i don't know about the rest of you.. but i really would like to see jill's pics and the other major players. thats what im waiting for now.
Oh now here's a thought, anyone know if Capcom will retain the god awful voice over work of the first game or re-do it a little bit better?
Hope it's not Chris's blood....

From what i read only the first Res Evil is being totally revamped, the others will be ports.
I do believe, as stated, that only the first R.E. will be revamped, and the others are just straight ports.
Porting is different from remaking. They are porting Code Veronica, 2, and 3 to the GCN. They are remaking RE1. They are making 0 and 4. RE1, 0, and 4 will take advantage of the GCN's graphics, but the rest won't.
Here's hoping they DON'T re-do the voice acting. That was a big part of the experience, for me...

IGN says on that same page that "updated" versions of the others are on their way. Are they wrong? Or maybe they're just using the term "updated" very loosely…
Updated, as in better graphics. They aren't redoing the games for the GCN, but they will no doubt increase poly counts and put in higher-res images. Probably include some extras, too.
