No surprises here, as Matt and Fran have been taken with Eternal Darkness since Day 1 and so have I. I promised myself as soon as ED saw daylight that I'd get a GameCube... what a wait it's been! (then again, it wouldn't be Nintendo if they didn't tease us with 3 'release' dates before it finally arrives [IMG] )
Seems like quite a line-up now with ED on the market, Super Mario Sunshine following in August and a chaser of Star Fox Adventures in September (and Metroid Prime and Zelda to follow).

Wow, I'm suprised at that score. I'll check around for some other reviews before getting this disc. That would be really cool if it was that good.

After reading more about this title on Gamespot (they did a hands on preview) it sounds pretty cool. I don't usually get into horror but this one is starting to sound cool.

I am surprised. Despite all the press this game has received I thought for sure it would suck. Personally, I don't like the art (the characters just look odd) but I'm suddenly much more interested.
I wonder if my Gamecube still works? [IMG]

Been looking forward to this for awhile. However, I'm going to be a good boy, and finish FFX and RE before I pick this game up.

I'm really looking forward to this game. Finally my cube will get some more attention. This was one of the games I had on my list of "Reasons why I should buy a Cube" so I'm hoping it is as good as everyone says.

I can't wait to pick this one up. Unfortunately I'm moving this week, so I have no idea when I'll get to play. I'm thrilled I picked the cube.

As a paying IGNInsider member, let me say thanks a lot for sending out protected information. Really helps keep down the cost of something I pay for. [IMG] [IMG]
I thought that kind of stuff was frowned upon on these boards.

I have Resident Evil and played it about an hour... I can't get into it at all. I think it's the static backgrounds... I don't like this type of game play.

I still need to read the review, but it doesn't use static backgrounds, does it?

I think maybe I'll sell back RE and get this...

What do you mean by static backgrounds?

I've enjoyed RE, but had a great deal of difficulty with the control. I've come to accept that the aiming is weak on this game, but my main problem now is knowing I need to dedicate an hour to playing it, rather than the 5 minutes I can play Smash Brothers, Sonic, or Bomberman.
