We had some friends over the other day. And we were talking about if you were in legal trouble. What tv lawyer (if they were real) would you want to represent you.

Civil case- Alan Shore (from Boston legal)

Criminal case- Perry Mason, cause he gets almost everybody acquitted.

My 10 year old daughter heard us and said she wants Elle Wood from Legally Blonde. [IMG]

It begins and ends with Mr. Jackie Chiles.

As much as I love Jackie Chiles, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to go with the esteemed Harvey Birdman.

If I was accused of a bizarre crime, Douglas Wambaugh from Picket Fences. At the very least, the proceedings will be entertaining.

Although Perry Mason (almost) never lost a case, his wins were due to the fact he could prove his clients to be innocent. So I’d hire him, if I were innocent.

Alan Shore might well irritate the judge or jury—plus he has a record of letting his sense of morality interfere with his representation.

Denny Crane would be perfect—but only before the onset of ‘mad cow’.

Rumpole has the admirable quality of getting his known guilty clients off with style and humor. Plus he is not se expensive as the high priced American lawyers.

After the win, we could share a bottle of Chateau Thames Embankment—at least until he went home to ‘She who must be obeyed’.

My second choice would be LIONEL HUTZ from I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S NOT A LAW FIRM.

Third choice would be SHAMBALLA GREEN from early Law & Order episodes. Who else does "righteous indignation" better?

My wife said Bobby Donnel from The Practice before he became such a wuss and ineffective lawyer in the later seasons. [IMG]

Little disappointed no one said...Samuel T.Cogley...taught Denny Crane something. [IMG]

I was just waiting when someone would post her. [IMG]

To clarify my "Ed Stevens" choice, I would choose him because any case against me would probably be a little wacky so I would need a specialist in that sort of thing.
