Isn't Superman the ultimate super hero?
I mean, he can fly, he has heatvision, he is super strong and super fast, he is bulletproof... he can do almost everything that all other super heros can do. And in the real world, there is no Lex luthor with kryptonite, so he would be invincible (never mind that in the real world there would be nobody like Superman either )!
In the comics, there might be cooler super heros, but if I would pick one to be IRL, it would definitely be superman.
Too bad he can't be invisible though... but he has that super-speed going, and that can be used in a similar fashion.

I guess Supes gets my nod. I'm not so sure about the whole "super powers" thing cause then everone would always be like, "Help us, help us!" And that would get REAL OLD, REAL QUICK.
But then there'd be the women. ...oh, the women. They'd always be like, "I want you!" And that would be COOL!

Fast Man – As fast as ten fast men.
Carpet Man – Able to shock his enemies with discharges of static electricity.
Fish Boy of Atlantis – Able to emerge from a 1000-foot dive at sea with only minimal decompression.
Inspector Gadget – That whole “Go Go Gadget” alliteration thing.
Super Chicken – He carries a sword, and stuff like that.
Atom Ant – Cool helmet.

I'd want the following abilities:
- When I jump, I want to go anywhere from five feet to thirty feet.
- I want to be stronger than all humans and yet look like a normal human.
- I want to be faster than all humans and yet again, look like a normal human.
- I want telekinesis so I can move knives, blades, swords, and so on when I have to fight (and I can also use it for other things... heh heh heh).
Oh, that would be sweet.
