Great, Ron!!!!!! Here is hoping that whatever held up S3's release will someday be resolved so the job of making the entire series a reality on at least DVD comes to pass!!!! Thanks!!!Ron1973 said:You read my mind!
I changed my mind. I don't really want this anymore.Radioman970 said:...

I subscribed to ESPN Classic for a while in hopes of catching it. I finally figured out I wasn't watching any of the episodes I recorded and cancelled my subscription.Tina_H_V said:Great, Ron!!!!!! Yes, I remember recording a few episodes ESPN Classic years ago prior to the DVD's coming to pass. It was a very big day when the DVD of S1 came out in November 2005. I still even have the page-length but 20% size ad taken out in the USA Today the week S1 was released. I cut the ad out of the paper and put it up on my wall at work originally, but when my office moved, I brought the ad home and placed it on the side of my fridge, where it remains tethered via a magnet to this day!!!!Ron1973 said:I subscribed to ESPN Classic for a while in hopes of catching it. Why not???? I caught on to the show back in 1978 before everyone else in my family did. Once it debuted on CBS-TV, I never looked back!!!!!I have fond memories of watching it with my dad on network TV when it came on. He was a huge fan at the time though I'm not sure if he would have any interest in the show now.
Sounds good to me ! I would add 'The Alaskans''Boots & Saddles''Broken Arrow' 'The Californians''Dundee & Culhane' 'Gunslinger''Legend of Jesse James' 'Man from Blackhawk''Man Without a Gun''The Outcasts'Two Faces West''Union Pacific'as other westerns mostly forgotten & almost certainly never likely to surface on DVD sadly. Have a couple of episodes of 'Jefferson Drum' - pretty good western.Don't get me startedon all the old forgotten detective shows !I would choose westerns all the way--Hotel de Pare; Wichita Town; The Californians and Tales of Wells Fargo seasons 3-5. Does anyone remember either Jefferson Drum or The Wrangler (Jason Evers)? I barely remember Wrangler but I've never seen an episode of Jefferson Drum. Has anyone seen an episode of either in the last 50 years?
I would definitely like the complete Smothers Brothers and Laugh-In, along with a complete SCTV, and, of course, Batman (which finally seems to be coming). As for Dean Martin, I'd just like a complete collection of the "who's behind the closet door" segments.Walter Kittel said:+1. As Dave pointed out, finding the time can be a chore in and of itself.
A few that come to mind include::
Laugh-In
The Flip Wilson Show
The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour
Dean Martin Variety Show
These would be complete sets, not edited, or "best of" sets.
Variety shows tend to have more re-watch potential for me because as the name implies, they have more variety.

I"d add The Americans , Gray Ghost , Casey Jones , Boots And Saddle , Black Saddle ,Buckskin.Silverking said:Sounds good to me !
