I'd like to see on DVD (and probably never will):
"It's a Man's World" 19-episode television series that aired on NBC from September 17, 1962 to January 28, 1963. Starred Glenn Corbett, Michael Burns, Ted Bessell and Randy Boone. It was ahead of its time, and now it is, I assume, lost.

Maybe it's not lost, because it's Universal property, and the 35mm negatives are still in the vaults, but they won't do transfers unless some cable network wants to spring for a set for put in its programming lineup.

I'd go for some vintage shows with relatively short runs of a season or two in DVD sets like the following.CRUSADER (CBS 1955-56, cancelled a third of the way thru 56-57)

While not holy grail shows for many people, there are three shows, quickly cancelled, that I'd like to own because of unairedepisodes, two shows starred one of my favorite female tv actresses.1) Spy Game from 1997 with Alison Smith. The mid season replacement show had 13 episodes but only 9 of them aired before ABC cancelled it.It was shown overseas, so it exists, I'd love to see it. This sort of goofySpy themed show had sharp dialogue, and a quirky sense of humor.2) Buddy Faro from 1998. Great cast with Dennis Farina, Alison Smith,Frank Whaley, and Charles Robinson (Night Court). 13 episodes were made, but only 8 aired on CBS. Smith went on to The West Wing cast in 1999. I'd love to see the other 5 shows.2) Miss Match from 2003 with Alicia Silverstone. The fall show premiered ok, But the Friday night spot proved hard to get good ratings. They shot 18episodes, but only 11 aired on NBC. The show was seen in Europe. It was shot in wide screen, but I'm not sure how it aired everywhere sincesome tapes I've seen show it in standard 4x3.

With buyers of The Rifleman S1 DVD set complaining about the picture quality, I'd like to see it be completely remastered into its original night-of-broadcast shape, and that would mean the original opening with sponsor tags, commercials, and closing sponsor tags and the endcard that would read, "The Rifleman, a Four Star Films, Inc. and Sussex Pictures Inc. Production."I have seen that on youtube, oh BTW, the Four Star banner endcard first appeared in 1959 on all of its shows.
