If you could only put one (1) BEATLES song on your iPod, which would it be? (1 Viewer)

"I Should Have Known Better"...

For John's harp playing.

For the visual images from A Hard Day's Night it evokes.

For those very Beatle-ey vocals:

"...and when I ask you to be mi....i-i-iiiiiine..."

Ahh...the band from which all music springs. Tough one. "In My Life" is up there, but I've always loved "She Said,She Said". Really digging the "A Day In The Life from "Love", but I'd need a 5.1,24/96 iPod.

Hard choice. Yesterday, Penny Lane, and several others would be candidates. But today I'll go with Eleanor Rigby.

I do like the Beatles somewhat, but they are highly overrated imo,it just pisses me off that they get credit from so many people for doing the first concept album, and using the studio as a true instrument, when in fact Zappa and the Mothers were doing it years before the Beatles were even heard of in the USA,that said,I guess the one Beatle song would be "piggies"

Your music history is confused, a lot.
What exactly were the Mothers doing "years before" 1963?

Moving along, Frank Sinatra had earlier concept albums than "In The Wee Small Hours" but that one was released in 1954.
1954, when Frank Zappa was 13.

I, however, am not pissed off. Not even disappointed, angry, tense, vexed, beside myself, chagrined or mad.

"I Am The Walrus, I Am The Walrus, I Am The Walrus?"

"Shut the F*CK UP, Donnie!"

Sorry, couldn't resist...
