    I noticed in a different thread the AVR882 is basically an 1802

    I recently found out that except for the lack of preouts and a detachable trigger, the Yamaha HTR-5090 is just like the RX-V1200...

    Is the 882 an "online friendly" version(distributed to un-authorized dealers) of the 1802? It seems the 5090 is an "online friendly" version of the 1200...

    The 5090 is quite a bit cheaper than the 1200, is the 882 much cheaper than an 1802?

    Is the build quality of these "online friendly" recievers like the 882/5090 inferior to the 1802/1200?

    Where is a good place to find a Denon 882 and its ilk?

    All responses are welcome

    2802=982, the 3802 has no mass-market counterpart
