I agree with Bhagi. I think people are simply projecting their "what-if" fantasies onto a career that never was, like saying that none of the problems of the 60s would have happened if Kennedy hadn't been assassinated, or James Dean would have had an awesome career if he hadn't died young. The fact is that Jackson did get injured in a way that the all time greats (Brown, Payton, Smith ) didn't. Durability is an important part of greatness in football.
