I just burned my first disc using iMovie and iDVD on my 1ghz iMac.

it asked me to fit 90mins, and when I test it - it will only play the first 60 minutes! Did I do something wrong?

please help.

Chris - I don't know the answer to your question, but you might want to post what version off iDVD /iMovie you are using, and your system configuration. Also, you might want to check out David Pogue's iMovie 3 and iDVD: The Missing Manual. I've browsed it a few times at the book store and plan on picking up a copy when I decide to start burning discs on my Mac.

- Walter.

version 3 or latest versions.

10.2.6, 1GB RAM, 24GB free hard drive space.

it seems as if it thought I selected the 60 minute capacity.

file is 89 mins.

on 1 player, it plays on with audio only actually.

Chris,
I've only used iDVD once or twice, and never for something that long, so I'm sorry that I won't be much help here. Have you seen Apple's Tech Info note on iDVD movie lengths? It's here. It may be worth spending some time in the Apple discussion forums over at Apple's website.

Also, what brand blank DVDs are you using?

Good luck, let me know how it turns out.
