Idiot subcontractor cut my in-wall SPDIF!! PLEASE HELP ME! (1 Viewer)

I'm no longer looking to extend the cable - I'm looking at putting on a wall plate. Then I'll plug some short rca audio cables into the wall jacks and the devices.

I suppose if that does not work then I can do the BNC connector to splice the line and make it longer.

I'd still prefer to get an informed opinion of that approach before I go through the trouble...

It's probably been said, but frankly it's tough to screw up an SPDIF signal.
Don't sweat this and get something from the drywaller's for their fubaring of this.
You can get those plates you were looking for at Home Depot or Lowes.
Radioshack probably has a "gold" (aesthetics) series of the plate you are looking for and most likely less money

BTW, lots of wires can be run through 3/4" conduits if they are fished through and staggered so that the connectors are not clumped together. Ideally, one should estimate higher or larger.
