looks like a pretty nice presentation of a good suspenseful movie ...I'll be interested in the alternative ending since I'm not sure I was sold on the one that appeared in the theatrical cut...directors commentary is key..cover art is weak

That is possibly the worst cover art I have ever seen. [IMG] [IMG]

I will definitely be picking this one up though. In my opinion this is one of the better films released so far this year, although it is far from flawless.

Its a Columbia Release, so I think it's a safe bet that a Superbit will be out eventually. I might wait.

Aww...why couldn't they use the poster art? The poster art ruled.

Ah, another case of Columbia TriStar throwing out amazing theatrical artwork for some ass ugly video art. Anyone else remember Hollow Man? The poster in theaters for that ruled!

Why with every release do people assume there will be a superbit release? I mean they only have like 12 shows or something near that number in superbit. IT's not like they have done every title.

And I stupidly assumed the theatrical art would be used. Good picture, but I'm not buying this. I'm sick of lump-headed studios treating us like idiots. [IMG]

I'll be picking this up....I'm not letting Columbia's habit of using ugly cover art (Mothman Prophecies SE, Glory SE etc...) prevent me from picking up a perfectly good film.

IDENTITY is a masterful little horror gem, and one of my new all time favorites, so this disc will be mine on release day! The extras sound very nice, but the theatrical poster was one of the coolest posters I've ever seen, and I am rather pissed about Columbia's decision to change it. Oh well, I plan on buying the poster soon anyways.

The last 5 minutes of this movie , totally ruined it for me. I thought the ending was stupid, but thats just my opinion. So many ways they could have ended the movie , and they picked the cliched obviuous, ugh !

    Re: the cover art

Ain't it funny that what works with three faces looks really silly with four?

I loathed the film, but that's beside the point.

    Worst. Cover art. Ever.

Even if I liked the film, I wouldn't buy it out of principle [IMG]

That's great to hear! Already a favorite, once I see it again, I'm pretty sure it'll move up onto my top 20 favorites list. Can't wait to view this gem again, and hearing that the DVD is superb makes me all the more anxious!
