I just bought one of those sets... They don't seem to stick very well. It would be nice if both of the short runs had long cables. I have the 85" kit.

I bought a couple of these for my sets. I do like the effect, but I agree that the adhesive isn't very good.

Also, the double strip one that I bought just up and quit working for a while and then started working again. It is still going.

I don't know if the problem lies within the bias light or if it is because I have it plugged into an LG TV. Considering LGs shitty construction quality, it is probably the TV.

It sounds like you guys are talking about the MediaLight models. We endorse them, but they are not made by CinemaQuest, Inc. Our Ideal-Lume models are different, using a rigid aluminum fixture, rather than a flexible strip. Try this link: http://cinemaquestinc.com/ideal_lumesb.htm#LEDStandard

Sorry. You are correct. It was the medialight models. The adhesive doesn't hold that well. I used short strips of transparent tape in between the LEDs to hold the strips in place. That has worked out okay for me. The tape is low tack enough that it should not damage the strip if I have to remove it, but high enough to hold everything in place.

They have been pretty good so far.
