I can't find any reviews of this game online. Is it going to slip in under the radar?

John, it went gold on Monday. Over at www.planetbaldursgate.com they say that it will be out sometime in september. Damn, I've gotta go finish the first one I guess.

If it's half as enjoyable as the first one, I'm going to be in heaven.[IMG]

With all the console game talk, the PC game threads get buried quickly around here.
Here's a link to EBGames that goes into a littel detail about this game. Maybe true 3E rules combined with the infinity engine? PoR was a bit of a disappointment, NWN, while fun, doesn't equal Baldur's Gate + 3rd Edition.
I'll cautiously watch the word on this in the next week or two.

John, there is rumor of an expansion/sequel to NWN. I will more than likely be getting IWD2 though. More sleepless nights...lol

Well, I picked this up today, and it seems to be a pretty solid package. So far it seems more hack-n-slash oriented, as Black Isle games have tended toward. But the gameplay seems solid so far. The artwork is just stunning, as was the original Icewind Dale. I'm glad they kept the same look, because that made the first one so much more interesting to look at. Hopefully, I'll be able to add more in-depth comments later. As of now, I can already say my money wasn't wasted.

Agreed with the above, money well spent. I'm enjoying this game much. Great music too.

The battles are hard and thats just the way I wanted it.

Good game, pick it up if you liked the first one.
