IB mounted in a door ?? (1 Viewer)

I have read the cult and every other resource that I could find about them.

I want to use the closet underneath my stairs. My issue is mounting the woofers. I want to purchase a solid door and mount the speakers right in the door !! Is this possible has anyone else tried it?

Better make sure the door is sealed good.

If you have enough air-space volume then your concern should be not allowing air to work it's way past your baffle, in this case, your door. Also, vibration. I don't believe I've ever seen an interior door that didn't have some slop in it, other than the door to the bomb shelter. Other than that it should work fine.

Yup will work fine.

Might want to invest in ballbearing hinges to carry the weight of the drivers and solid core door
