Been thinking about buying an external Blu-ray burner for
my iMac and Macbook Pro for quite some time.
Prices on burners have come down substantially, and I
was surprised that the price of blank BD discs themselves
were not as much inflated in price compared to their DVD
counterparts.
Basically, I want to burn my HiDef movies off my
camcorder and preserve them on Blu-ray. I understand
that I can do this using ROXIO TOAST.
However, I am also learning that an even better method
to encode the H.264 BD codec is to use compressor 4,
which I have.
Right now I am looking at this Blu-ray burner which is
highly rated and quite inexpensive. If anyone has any
suggestions, I would appreciate it.
