Not to look a (bountiful) gift horse in the mouth, but is there any news regarding a 3D Blu-ray of SPACEHUNTER?

X-rated in 1970's is equal to R rated now.
I haven't seen Prison Girls so I can't speak to it specifically but its director, Tom DeSimone, was in the middle of his career in porn at the time so I'm assuming this is an actual X-rated movie. However, I'm also guessing it's probably closer to a "nurses movie" than actual hardcore. As for AIP's participation, it was 1972 so Deep Throat was still making a fortune and it was the time of porno chic (and porn hadn't become the gutter it was about to be seen as) so I guess AIP went for the dough. It is wild that the industry and the world had changed so quickly that AIP had been doing beach party movies a little more than 5 years before Prison Girls though.

I have seen it and it's soft porn.

You haven't read this thread? Already, some criticism is being mentioned from unknown people regarding this TCM showing(s). I've seen this played out so many times beforehand so call me cynical about people's intentions or hidden agendas. With that comes overreaction by others.

I have little doubt that ClassixFlix will do an outstanding job releasing the 4K and 3-D discs. I will be purchasing them so I'm enthusiastic about these upcoming release.
I'm not sure where the "unknown people" were sitting at the TCM screening, but I was there and the audience, (myself included), oohed and aahed with delight throughout the screening. I've seen many current era 3D presentations at theaters and throughly enjoyed them all, but I enjoyed Jury so much I want to get the capability at home now to watch more "classic era" 3D movies.
I have a playstation so I just need monitor/glasses, any recommendations ?

Can’t wait to see ClassicFlix’s release, which should be gorgeous!

Multiple agendas in sight here.

3D capable televisions are no longer manufactured. The last ones were produced in 2016. You will need to look for a used television from that period that offers the capability. Alternatively, many current projectors still offer the ability to display 3D so you can look into that route as well. (Epson and BenQ, as well as other manufacturers, offer well regarded models at a variety of price points that can display 3D.)

I've meant to get one myself, I just haven't had the opportunity. The projector route might be a good alternative for the future.

Thanks! I have never considered a getting a projector, lots of research to do now.
I've had 5 of them over the decades. I can say that ViewSonic has been an outstanding, dependable, excellent value with a very impressive display. Auto zoom, DLP (black blacks - white whites) HD, easy remote menu, and state-side customer service should you need. Their sales department at customer service was great in helping me pick an affordable, amazing unit. Get a decent, reflective screen if you want the most from 3D. I currently have a ViewSonic PX700HD with an Elite 120" screen. I couldn't be happier. The 3D glasses came in an 8 pack made by Goswot and every pair still works perfectly. When choosing a 3D blu-ray player, you may want to consider an "all regions" unit that will play discs no matter what country it's from. The first ViewSonic I had the color wheel eventually went out and I sent it back for repair, and the repair cost was reasonable. Once you decide on a projector, make sure to keep the shipping and packing box (with the styrofoam) in case you ever need to get it repaired. I've found with projectors, it's been best to have the manufacturer do the service. Also; If you have a lengthy run from your receiver or player (15 or more feet) you're much better off getting a fiber optic HDMI cable. Mine is by KableDirekt, 40'. Prime Day, Cyber Monday, and just before the new year models come out is the best time to buy. Not counting surround audio, I'm into the video end for about 12/1300. The surround is Yamaha RX-V383BL, Infinity speakers and a BIC America F12 sub.
