    Yes, it's true.

Elite Entertainment are doing us all the huge favour of going all Anchor Bay and providing a THX anamorphic transfer, 5.1 sound in both DD and DTS as well as a vast swathe of new supplements for one of the most loathsome and unpleasant films of all time (although I would argue, along with others, that it is a good picture).

It's pencilled in for later in the year.

Man, you could edit this film down to 20 minutes and not lose any of the dialogue or plot. Gotta be one of the most unpleasant and poorly made films of all time.

I let Home Theater Forum talk me into purchasing the original DVD--and the film itself, which I hadn't seen. In that thread from way back when, which I originated, the entire range of commentary convinced me to check out a movie I long been curious about. I am still a member of the Forum. Why would someone who hates the film read a thread about a possible SE release? Thanks but no thanks for the thread-crapping.

I look forward to the SE, as Elite has been surprising me as of late with their quality.

As loathesome as this film really is, I'll surely be picking it up if for no other reason that it does have a place in the annals of sleaze cinema. Sure, the rape sequence is vicious but her revenge against those cretins is quite satisfying in a visceral way. Unpleasant, yes, but no more so than being subjected to Curly Sue or an direct-to-video Olson Twins movie.

I quite enjoyed the last Olsen Twins movie I saw on television. They were in Australia, and it made me laugh in a few places.

I wasn't thread crapping and I don't think Rick was either. There's a difference between a thread crap and a difference of opinion. I'm still interested in reading about the movie to see how the SE will be presented, even though I didn't care for the movie itself. Chill.
